Growing my business

This last year has been so much fun growing my Photography business that I have neglected things such as my blog.  I really believe I have found my true passion in photography.  I have found that while Family is so very important, so is loving yourself.  I have found that women struggle the most with this.  I have now had the opportunity to do 5 different Boudoir sessions for women of all shapes, sizes, skin tones, and walks of life.  These sessions have been the most rewarding sessions for me and for these women.
We as women look at other women and judge ourselves accordingly.  This is not fair to us as strong women, mother's, sisters, friends, grandmothers, etc.  As a woman, I too am at fault for looking at other women and wishing I looked differently.  I have watched as we buy expensive make-ups, have life altering surgeries to change who we are, go on unhealthy diets, work out until we can barely stand, and forget who we truly are.  Why do we do this?  

We are so worried about what everyone else thinks of us that we forget we are truly magnificence being.  We give our entire hearts, body, mind, and spirit to another person in hopes of making a family.  We give our bodies up to have children and create life.  We spend every waking hour worrying about our families, our children, our homes, and others well-being and forget about ourselves.  

My Boudoir sessions have been a great reminder to women and how absolutely spectacular they truly are.  We all have different stories but seeing the beauty of women behind the lens is captivating.  As my clients have left these sessions, they each have a new found confidence, a new love for themselves, and realize how spectacular they truly are.  I highly recommend have a session done to remind you of what a powerful and amazing woman you truly are.

A story to tell

My photography has grown from a spare time hobby to something I absolutely love doing.  I have been taking pictures for 10+ years for people and have enjoyed every minute of it.  As my photography skills have grown - so has my longing to take peoples stories and put them on film.  People are full of stories - joyous, sad, complicated, beautiful, and eventful stories.  Let me take your pictures and tell your story!!
